You may be right on the ending (I had to turn it off after that lesbian scene bc thats when the cabaret kicked in). I actually should restate that its a very good movie until the point where the gal opens the box, and then not as much. I think I liked it for its allegorical vision, the cinematography (thats what I meant ) an the overall vibe it conveyed. I dont think I have ever been creeped out by any other movie. This one, very creepy, so in that sense its very good at what it does.
but I dont think the ending was contrived or anything.
