Here's the thing: I can appreciate a nice soccer play. A beautiful pass, fancy ball handling, all that can be amazing. But I have a degree in one of the sciences. I understand evolution. Primates are the most evolved BECAUSE of opposable thumbs. The greatest leap in our evolution was when being bi-peds allowed our manual dexterity and tool use to explode. Why develop a sport that ignores our greatest strength and forbids our using our hands? It's like the rest of the world read Harrison Bergeron as a good idea. There is a very good reason the sport is not popular here. Good bless these United States.
