I invite you to follow some of my relatives on Facebook, the ones who are barely getting by on blue-collar wages in jobs with no great future and who keep posting about Black Lives Matter and NFL players who kneel during the National Anthem. If you think they aren't discussing social issues, you're wrong. If you think that their views and politics are not "identity politics" it's because you don't understand what other people mean by that term.
