I went back and read what my state's Bar Character and Fitness looked at- would an allegation like this bar me from being a lawyer? The answer was it isn't clear- BUT over and over the materials emphasized being truthful now is taken as way more important than what shit you might have done then. Oh, and "ties" go to you don't get the ticket. You've a burden to prove you'll be okay.
