The good of a sparse nabe:
-always find a parking spot
-peace and fucking quiet
-I can go days without seeing a neighbor's face
The bad:
-shoveling
-raking
-taking care of my damn yard. Today, when cutting back some plants, I noticed where the fucking squirrels planted what would soon be an oak tree right next to my fucking house. Seriously, this was a plant with oak leaves with a trunk a half-inch thick.
