I have never wanted to be a part of any group. As soon as I am in a group, I begin to internally critique its methods and aims and desire to either improve it (which is almost never a realizable option), subvert it (almost the point of sabotage), or just check out.
It's a reflexive recoiling. But the more I read on group dynamics and our natural tendencies toward ant-like behavior, the more I realize, I'm not correctly wired for the hive.
