Cotton was the loudest opposition to the weak justice reform bill that was just passed. He's truly scary. (Except for his argument that all federal crimes should have a
mens rea requirement, which is actually a great idea.) Think Sessions, but relatively unknown and immune to criticisms of a documented racist past. And with a military record, to give all the usual chickenhawks wet dreams.
