FWIW, since Brexit much of EP has decided to hate immigrants too. So maybe the haters are feeling better as members?

People voted to get out, but it turns out that many of the Tories voted for a have-our-cake-and-eat-it-too Brexit where they would have all of the free trade advantages of being in the EU but also the ability to keep non-British riffraff from coming into the country. This, it turns out, was a Brfantasy, because the EU is not going to agree to it. It seems likely now that if they too another vote, Bremain would beat Brexit because many people now understand they were sold a pipe dream.
