Jobs and healthcare are what won midterms for Dems in 2018. Trump can and probably will win the jobs argument, but he’s fucked on health care.
But if you were doing badly during Obama years, and many people were as a result of Great Recession, and you’ve seen improvement since end of Obama’s term and into Trump’s you’re probably prone to think, “This guy’s a dick... But I don’t want to go back to 2008, or 2012.”
Nobody’s changing vote based on Russia shit. That’s all preaching to the converted, on both sides. All these issues on which people decry Trump as immoral don’t add up to much in terms of voters. Jobs and healthcare are what matter, as stated in that NYTimes story I cited.
What we’re taking about here? Not many more people outside the small demographic to which we belong are paying attention to it.
