Assume someone has applied for asylum here and not returned home but had no decision on asylum yet - so they're undocumented. They also have little money. Their five year old kid is brought to the hospital with a 103 degree fever, dehydration, phosphorescent puke, and pains in their abdomen. She may have a burst appendix, or she may have one of several other serious ailments, but needs medical attention.
What should the hospital do, and who should pay for it?
