Yeah, but as Adder notes, execs aren’t geniuses. If you’re a GC, a stooge with a big degree is a better spacegoat than one with experience. Branding is less and less important as value becomes more significant (and info on the Internet has educated savvy consumers as to how easy it is to practice law), but it’s still real. The patsy with brand credentials is always the safest route for job protection.

People are so fucking dumb they assume one is smart based on one’s college. Someone here just cited a stat that, among selective schools, 43% of students are legacies or athletes.

Trump has exposed a horrifying fact. Most people are a lot stupider than you think. You can get away with way more than you know. Dumb it down, then dumb it down a few more times. Then when you think they must be onto you, dumb it down once more.
