As I said, I'm sure some are, but it's also true that there are a lot of Shia who are sympathetic to Iran, and that this was absolutely predictable when we removed the Baathist Sunni regime and tried to introduce democracy. Insofar as many Iraqis think Iran has too much influence, why do you (or does your friend) think Iran has that influence?
