There's definitely a genetic or underlying condition component to the people who do badly with this. It seems quite arbitrary which young people wind up in ICUs. But it can't be. There are 70 and even 90 year olds beating this, and then others suffering severe reactions.
It goes without saying I hope you and your family are safe. I've a spouse who's exposed to possible infection, but not to the extent yours is. I'm really sorry you and she have to go through this.
