If I go to the store every day, my cumulative risk of getting hit with a significant dose increases. But it's an outlier -- the possibility a person with it sneezes on me. OTOH, massive viral load from significant repeat exposures such as those which killed HC professionals early on in the pandemic do stack. But only because they came in enormous doses quickly over short periods of time.
