It sounds like it actually IS that hard, since the researchers you referenced aren't even sure.

I switched from Nexium to Pepcid after I saw this study. https://www.webmd.com/lung/news/2020...-19-symptoms#1

I wonder if this made my recovery easier. Classic Covid came in hard, but left damn quickly. Unfortunately, Pepcid sucks at acid reduction compared to proton pump inhibitors.
