I don’t agree with the logic of the article. I don’t see how masks can be effective but mandates not. That strikes me as one of those contrarian “ahah!s” that doesn’t withstand scrutiny.
As to Adder or anti-maskers being the problem, this binary framing ignores the majority of viewpoints. Most people were on a continuum in between the dimwits who think China had the right idea and “it’s just a flu… so fuck your masks… Freedom!”
