Rant!
Opposing counsel just told his client to call me to direct me to make revisions to a deal. Idiot client calls me and tells me he needs something revised (he doesn't know what) and that I should do it. I tell him to have his lawyer call me. Idiot lawyer calls me and tells me he's to busy to make revisions to my last draft and that I should do it. I tell him I can't read his mind and that he should at least tell me what he wants. He's too busy. Idiot lawyer calls back asking me if I'm done yet. I tell idiot lawyer he needs to either sit down and do it or hire an associate to do it. Idiot lawyer's idiot client calls me and asks me if I've got the revisions done yet. I don't know WTF they're talking about, except that I had deleted a provision that idiot lawyer drafted that's void for public policy and he got steamed. Idiot lawyer calls back and yells that he wants it back in, I send him civil code section and he calls back even more steamed that I've been impertinent.
I laugh at idiot lawyer and tell him to note it in my annual review.
Fucking asshole.
