In case Panda's being too oblique here, the FluMist contains live virus and has not been tested and approved for use on those under five and over 65. Thus, it's contraindicated for young kids anyway.
Don't sweat it, Ty. The huge majority of people who contract flu experience nothing more than a bad respiritory infection, and Panda's right that the vaccine is merely very good at protecting you from
last year's flu. You're probably just as likely to die of West Nile.
