As to the former, sexual chemistry to me is that electrical current that is in the air between me and someone when I've met someone and really want to get them naked. It's that hypersensitivity of every nerve ending, so that every brush up against me gets me hot and all I can think about is, well honestly, at the beginnning, my mouth. For me, it's all centered around that kiss, and wanting to know it and taste it and feel it. To me, that's sexual chemistry...the wanting it really bad, so that you can almost feel it...you know what that kiss will feel like, what that hand will feel like, what those thrusts will feel like...and you are on the edge of your seat in anticipation.

Now, I've had sexual chemistry with people that's gone bust after they've kissed me or we've gone home and gotten naked together, for all of ther rreasons you've expounded above. Sexual technique musst follw up the initial chemisrty, or else the chemistry simply evaporates.

Now when the sexual chemistry gets mixed up with stellar sexual technique, and along the way you find that you have a kink or two in common, well that's sexual alchemy and that's pretty wonderful.

I'm with you on this one. Sexual chemistry is the charge in the air before anything really has happened. Whether or not it translates into good sex with someone is another question. And when it doesn't, I can be quite a letdown. But when it does... Amazing.

Sigh. I need a cigarette break.
