I'm not at all a mail or addressbook fan. It's too bad, because I'd like to drop microsoft. but mail is lacking some basic features (last time I checked, at least), like "open next on delete" and address book is really lacking in the amount of information one can put in. For example, no birthdays. Not helpful, especially when that feature could integrate with iCal quite nicely. Basically, mail and address don't have features that entourage does, and don't have any features that entourage doesn't, except for the microsoft name.
The lack of easy organization in Mail by separating emails into different folders bugs me. A lot. As for AddressBook, I actually rather like it, and put info like birthdays at the bottom in "Notes."
