Concur in large part, though some personalities are just naturally "dark" and the negativity isn't a symptom of anything else --- or, at least, anything acute. I have friends who are vastly intuitive and creative, but entirely self-absorbed and depressive, and petrified of being ordinary. They are like this every day.
