Y'all are both right. I am sure that most of us straight men* and lesbians here on the FB dig the smart chicks. Alas, it is not always so in the Real World Outside.
One of my wife's friends has a husband who really has issues with the fact that his wife is smarter than he is. Another one was recently divorced for (in part) the same reason.
And I can tell you that there are a *ton* of attractive women lawyers here in Podunkville that can't seem to find the right guy. All seems well when they first meet someone during "Singles Shopping Saturday" in the produce section of the Piggly-Wiggly until they admit what they do for a living. "Your job is too complicated" they are told. Not for nothing that Miranda on SATC got plenty o'action when she told guys that she was a stewardess.
