I can't believe that he really thinks this guy would be successful. There's a
huge difference between having big brass cojones and being a complete social retard. A guy in Trump's position I think would have to know the difference.
I think it's much more likely that the producers are suggesting to him that it would be better television to keep this asshole around as long as possible. Of course, I also assume that Trump's smart enough to know this on some level anyway.
The guy hasn't shown me anything that would lead me to believe he has what it takes to be a raging success. He seems to be one of those people whose only discernible skill is running his mouth.
By the way, does anybody have any idea whether the "job" being offered is a legitimate one? Who is really paying the salary? Plus, I wonder if there is any obligation to keep the winner in the job for any period of time. Maybe one of you reality junkies knows for sure.
I have to admit, I'm finding this rather compelling -- not to mention a great commercial for all things Trump.
