I don't know if the job is legitimate, but it's only guaranteed for one year. Which makes "winning" this show worth $250,000 (the annual salary for the position). Which sucks ass. On survivor you get $1M and you don't have to work an entire freaking year for it. Trump's a cheap-ass bastard.
