Single greatest sports moment, Canada wins 1998 Women's curling gold Medal on a phenom throw. Canada skip Sandra Schmirler is facing a blocked in Swedan stone, that gives Swedan the gold if left in the house. Sandra's sweepers have just stunk up the place the whole end, leaving two Swedan draws protecting the stone. She is down to her last stone, and facing keen ice.
Somehow, she puts enough delivery into the hammer to curl it around the draws, and knocks the Swedan rock out of the house, leaving her own, and earning the gold.
Nothing I've seen since can beat that.
