I am distressed at the poor quality of fact checking on this show. It's worse than the time that Carol on ER woke up on a Thursday in January and pondered whether or not she ought to take the MCAT that day. Where is the realism, people?

Not to mention the Everwood plotline involving the 16-yr-old kid getting romantically involved with (but not having intercourse with) his baby sister's 21-yr-old babysitter, and everyone yapping about how it's illegal. First of all, there's no sex so it can't be statutory rape. Second of all, and more importantly, under Colorado law (CO being the state in which all of the action takes place) if the minor is 15 or older it's not statutory rape if the non-minor is fewer than 10 years older than the minor.
Irritated the crap out of me. It may be a sign that I'm too old to be watching this stuff, but oh well.
