If you save the excellent Godfather refs for after 9 am pacific time I for one will shower you with praise. Although that doesn't seem to be what you have linked to as your best post.
Anybody catch Dean on Letterman last night? I don't usually watch but I was up late reading the Daily Worker and flipped it on just in time to see Dean's mug. I was impressed, if only because the material was reasonably amusing and because Dean doesn't usually seem to me to be someone that can make fun of himself. Three thoughts:
1) If he's trying to reach out to the people who were truly put off by his Iowa antics, shouldn't he have been on Leno? (This point may be merely academic if Leno signed a GOP loyalty oath once he became the official late night mouthpiece of Schwarzenegger)
2) I wonder if someone running damage control in Dean's camp was saying, "OK, what would Clinton do here? Something hip, but something that will also reach out to the common man. Does anyone have Arsenio's number....maybe we can book something with him..."
3) Listening to Letterman, Shaffer and Matthew Broderick talk shop about parenting makes me long for Bilmore's Demerol. Oh wait, that's not political. I guess this is a bonus thought, for all of my fans out there.
