Well anything can happen, but right now the Lightning have 6 points up on the Thrash, plus three games in hand, so you need to make up 8-10 points on them in 30 games, which ain't gonna be easy. As for whether they can catch the Isle, or the Habs, that's a different story. I'd say it's likely that they will if they get hot (I think Montreal's about to fall into slumpsville). But even with that, you're talking about playing the Leafs, Flyers, Devils or Sens in the first round, and that's a very tall order.

I hope the East playoff seeding ends up:
