Ks are nice and all, but justforfun I'd rather have been cdueced by a really hot body instead of toiling away at the office. Evenoddsex with a barelylegal robustpuppy might be okay, except I'd be afraid to manglelassie. Then, I'd have to tell a ltlfb or even a half-truth cluttered up with leagleaze to dodge trouble.
Have to go now. I've had to much boch-choy thai latte and now I have to PP.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I love myself
I want to love me
When I'm feelin' down
I want my b/f above me
I search myself
I want to find me
I forget myself
I want to remind me
I don't want anybody else
When I think about me
I touch myself
I don't want anybody else
Oh no, oh no, oh no
I'm the one who makes me happy honey
I'm the sun who makes me shine
When I'm around I'm always laughing
I want to make it all mine
I close my eyes
And see it all before me
Think I would die
If I were to ignore me
A fool could see
Just how much I adore me
I get down on my knees
I'd do anything for me
I love myself
I want to love me
When I'm feelin' down
I want my b/f above me
I search myself
I want to find me
I forget myself
I want to remind me
I want me
I don't want anybody else
And when I think about me
I touch myself
Ooh, oooh, oooooh, aaaaaah

Great site...it's nice to see that the community is still intact. People seem invigorated...wittier...and dare I say it, prettier.
Except for a certain prancey kitty.
I haven't caught up yet, and probably won't bother, but I did see that y'all have been abusing JFF (with, among others, a priceless bon mot from GWNC). I know I'm in the minority here, but....I think we should take pity on her. She is 40-ish, after all. Don't we cut 8-track and Bilmore some slack because of their age?
Also, despite her hot bod and talent for inspiring lust, she's still doing the serial boyfriend thing 20 years on. She's lonely and trying not to appear desperate, but she's oozing neurotic intensity from every pore. Hanging out with younger and younger people. Laughing a little too long...a little too hard. Having that extra martini at the bar. Looking around semi-casually for someone who might light her cigarette - while having a lighter hidden in her other hand, against her thigh, just in case. Coping. Running. Eating right. Rationalizing. And seeing a therapist. Asking, during session, why it is that decent, good-looking guys don't like smart hot chicks.
Is it the substance? The packaging? Both?
Pity her, I say.
On a somewhat more sobering (and thought-provoking) note, dawn has broken over Baghdad.
"This battle fares like to the morning's war
When dying clouds contend with growing light
What time the shepherd, blowing of his nails
Can neither call it perfect day nor night."
--Henry VI, Part 3, act 1, sc. 5.

(p.s. the Re: lines are so small as to be almost invisible...my guess is that most people read right over them. Would it be possible to enlarge the text in that box a bit? Just curious, enquiring minds, etc...this place is great, and I know many people put a lot of hard work into it.)

Nope again. My b/f keeps me plenty happy. He is 7 years older than me (and like me still looking hot - his full head o'hair is very helpful) and I am the youngest person in the crowd we hang with.

Nope again. Don't drink except the occasional glass of wine with dinner and definitely don't smoke. That smoking thing is something your generation does. We never saw the appeal. Haven't been to a bar since I was 25. Sounds like you are quite familiar with the bar scene, though.

I do run, do eat right, but also eat some things that aren't healthy like freedom fries smothered in cheese. Never saw a therapist, and I am not sure why people get any benefit from telling their problems to strangers. When I want to talk, I turn to my friends and family. They are all the therapy I need.
If you were looking to make a career change to become an FBI profiler, I would say you should keep your day job honey.

Low standards, guys. Someone says "blow job" and you are just busting out laughing. Let me guess, you think farting is funny, too. Bet your favorite movie scene was the baby ruth bar in the pool in Caddy Shack, huh?
What is really funny is that I have you all still talking about my favorite subject - my way smoking hot body. Tee hee

Yep -- from that description, it sounds like the real thing. For his sake, if he does love you, I hope he keeps his hair.
JustForFun wrote:

Hmmmm. I doubt you know how old I am. But let's assume you are of a different generation, which would make you well over 50. Why are you seeking validation from a bunch of twenty- and thirty-somethings on an Internet chat board?
Yes, I know you didn't start out LOOKING for validation...at least overtly. But why post so much personal information just to refute a bit of fictional, anonymous needling, otherwise?
Something must have hit too close to home.
JustForFun wrote:

That's true. I am lonely and desperate...my post about you was a classic case of transference. Will you hold me?
I am good-looking, have a full head of hair, exercise, and am commitment-phobic yet strangely tolerant. (After all, I'm getting laid regularly and haven't had to marry you yet). Are there any other qualities I need to have? I think I've covered everything you mentioned.
Please hold me.

I was really hoping to go to beauty school....but I'm only a teen angel. I'm too young. Too naive. Yet, strangely, too jaded, in a lonely, bar-hoppin' kinda way.
I'd like to make my career as your personal trainer. I want to stretch your aging muscles, massage that orange-peel cellulte, help you do crunch after crunch to keep those tapioca abs in shape for that boyfriend of yours. That way, he won't dump you for a cute lil' 25-30-year old in a couple of years. That would really suck.

I had this weird dream where I was the first person to arrive at the Oscars and I was trying to decide whether to sit at the Hours table or the Adaptation table (which I guess makes me Meryl Streep). I saw Nicole Kidman wearing a purple satiny button up the front blouse and dark pants. She won the oscar. The purple looked great with her upswept red hair but she seemed kinda down.
I am just noting this in the event it happens. Then I am dropping the law gig and opening a Miss Paigow Psychic Hotline.

The addition of Amonte and the return of LeClair have helped the scoring, but I think the Flyers' lack of toughness will eventually do them in.
Even if Gagne and Cechmanek get over their groin injuries (and Justin Williams makes a miraculous return for the playoffs), they are still less talented than the Senators. And although I think they could beat Toronto, the pounding they'd take from the Leafs in a seven game series would leave them hurting for later rounds.
Stealing the 2 seed from NJ is key, this way a series against Ottawa, Toronto, or NJ can be avoided until the Conference Championship.
