 Description:   LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION ATTORNEY
 
 The United States Postal Service Law Department is seeking experienced attorneys to fill vacancies at its Dallas Law Office.  The Dallas Law Office is centrally located and is easily accessible from several freeways.  The atmosphere is professional and congenial and the office is attractive with available free parking.
 
 Our attorneys represent management in employment litigation matters in the federal courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Merit Systems Protection Board.  They conduct discovery, draft and file motions, and participate in trials and mediation.  Applicants should have current and extensive experience in trial court civil litigation or labor and employment administrative hearings.  Applicants must possess strong academic credentials from an ABA accredited law school, demonstrate excellent writing and advocacy skills, work effectively in a team environment, and be a member in good standing of a state bar.
 
 Qualified applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening to meet the U.S. Postal Service's requirement to be drug-free.  U.S. citizenship or permanent resident alien status is required.
 
 These are temporary positions not-to-exceed one year, but may be extended beyond one year.  Competitive pay is offered on an hourly basis with no fringe benefits.
