I'm sure this one will go to TM's head

realityblurred has announced that Showtime is developing "Make Me Cool", I show in which 4 black people (possibly as hip as that dreamy Carson) will try to do the impossible - make middle america less dorky.

the story: If a Showtime-ordered pilot is successful, the network may soon air a reality TV series that follows three or four black people making over "uncool" people of all races. Created by the producers behind the porn industry series Family Business, Showtime wants to do this show because "[a] lot of the coolest stuff emanates from the black culture. That culture seems to have the hold on stuff that is going to be cool tomorrow -- they know it today," Showtime's entertainment president Robert Greenblatt tells The Hollywood Reporter. The network has ordered one as-yet-unproduced episode of Make Me Cool, but Greenblatt is already saying the show will have more depth than Queer Eye: "I think the dialogue between different cultures and races will be more explicit and frank. This will be more sociologically interesting than what fork to use and how to make a mushroom roulade."
