I was surprised Halle didn't slug that dude. Talk about over doing it. She didn't really look amused.

As previously noted, Jennifer Gardner looked good - except for the squished boobie issue. She looked like she had really been working out her arms and shoulders.

Julianne Moore looked OK, but I really hated her dress - I thought it was just plain boring. OTOH, if she was trying to look understated (war and all) she did a fine job. Along the same lines - who wore the bright turquoise prom dress? - that looked horrible - not a remotely flattering fit and the color was just off.

Thought Queen Latifah looked great - didn't see the dress, but the makeup looked awesome. CZK looked good - not so sure about the double strappies on the dress, but it was very flattering. Renee Z's hair looked cute short, but I'm glad she didn't win.

NK looked luminous as usual, but I didn't really like the dress straps on that one either. I'm glad she won. Hehe - take that Tom!

That Adrian guy who won was adorable - rambling but nice speech.. He didn't play the piano (as someone mentioned) but he trained for like 6 months to look like he was playing. And kudos to him for smooching Halle - any sane guy would have done the same, given the opportunity.

BTW, did Streisand look absolutely horrified to have to announce that eminem won? Pretty fucking funny. And, yes, someone needed to tell his manager who accepted the award that this was not the NBA all-star game.

I couldn't tell whether she was horrified or bemused. She was something though, cause she gave a funny little sound and had an odd look on her face.

I didn't see any of the Oscars. What did Eminem win for? I saw 8 Mile and really thought it sucked--and I actually like Eminem (although I disagree with a lot of his statements).

Has Eminem ever been presented with an award by someone who didn't despise him? Didn't Christina Aguilera give him some award and snidely say something like, "And the award goes to......haha.....interesting.....Eminem."

Best song. Yeah, that was sort of what I was getting from Babs. She figured she'd get to peace out with Bono. Although she probably was quite pleased that he wasn't there in person.

Me either. Though, come to think of it, I'm not sure exactly what I WAS doing last night, which seems to be a theme in my life recently.

Wonder Woman is getting a spiky short haircut and camo bustier:

While they're at it, can they make over Aquaman to look a little less, well, womanly?

I think I need to read the how tos more closely. I can't seem to predict when the quote deal will work, couldn't figure out how to post my own avatar, can't ever post images or links, and just am generally retarded. I'll read the stuff.

I'm sure PLF is pleased that using the emoticons is basically idiot-proof.

Ew! He looks like a wet, meth-crazed Fabio!

I was thinking of the "Superfriends" version of Aquaman. Apparently, he's been taking a lot of steriods. Which sort of "un-man" you right? Maybe that's why he's so pissed.

Change the demographics a bit, and it looks like she does.

Edited to add the picture

For the first time in my life I'm a little disappointed in the Sports Guy. I think he phoned it in on this one.

From the picture Burger posted, I am going out on a limb and assuming that somehow or another he's lost it somewhere along the way. The prostethic looks a lot less menacing than the harpoon bandaged on.

Don't let the power go to your head, slavey boy. I wasn't looking to get into a huge political discussion over here. But I'll comment on something that happened at the Oscars on this board if the mood hits me.

Dude, this is the Internet. Check the FAQ.

My favorite Aquaman frequently asked question is Why should I be interested in Aquaman? If you ask me, I'd say that question isn't asked quite frequently enough.

Jesus Christ. An innocent friend to dolphins with a soft spot for drowning children has turned into a harpoon-studded exoskeleton-pantsed steriod-sucking freak.

I feel faint. I'm sticking with "Sylvia".
