We have an unlisted number and anonymous call blocking on our home line. I think it's fucking rEcockulous that you have to pay for privacy.
Anyway, our number doesn't lead to any hits on google (thank God).

They haven't spoken since the reunion and she doesn't have her $500K yet.
I am shocked, shocked that they are no longer together.
Speaking of shocking developments, I cannot believe they sent Jennifer and Xavier home. I have never seen a couple better suited to each other. That Jennifer is quite a catch. She's so warm and loving, I bet she'll do great off the show.

You sound like my mother. She hates Jennifer. I think America agrees with you and my mother.
Was anybody else disturbed by the fact that the only way Stephen could get aroused by his new fiance was by her dressing up like a schoolgirl? Maybe he and the Best Director have something in common. How much must it suck to have your friends and family (and millions of total strangers) watch you beg your fiance for physical affection on tv?
I have decided to never audition for a reality show where there is the slightest possibility that my pixelated bare ass will be broadcast all over America. Especially if I am otherwise clad in a french maid's uniform. I thought I'd accidentally tuned into Skinemax during parts of last night's show.

I may be jumping in on the whole breast discussion a little late, but I wanted to toss in my 2 cents and represent those of us who are less...er...endowed.
I don't shop at Victoria's Secret anymore because, while their merchandise is plenty sexy, I had a bad experience there and the emotional scars have yet to heal. I went in there one day to buy a strapless bra. Now, normally I think of myself as a "B" cup, but apparently Vicky's operates under a different standard. After trying on a host of candidates and becoming more and more disturbed by seeing my woefully inadequate breasts swimming in foamy semi-circles, I threw myself upon the mercy of the 'bra fitting professional", who, without missing a beat, suggested that I consider "going without."
Suffice it to say, it was the first time the authorities had seen a tape-measure garrote.

So is that show worth watching now? If so, any idea if any affiliated channel is running reruns? I've been unable to watch since it changed to the watch us try to get along format. Will try to catch in next Monday...

I would appreciate it if everyone who is using signatures in their pictures could please shrink them down and have them hosted on one of the free sites somewhere. Right now their size is a bit of a problem.
For those of you wondering how the fuck you resize an image, here's a good, free program that's easy to use:
http://www.irfanview.com/
When you install it, there is a window which allows you to set file associations. If I were you, I would make sure none of those boxes are checked. That way, windows handles images with their default programs. If you check those boxes, all images on your computer will be opened with irfanview when you double click them.
Anyway, if you're wondering how to resize an image once you get irfanview installed, here's the process:
Download the image to your hard drive. Note the location where you saved it.
Open irfanview and then open the image from the file menu.
Go to the "Image" menu and pull down to "Resize/Resample."
In the box that pops up, you will find four "blocks" on the left side. The second one down has a selectable button titled "Set New Size." Make sure that button is selected.
In the fourth block down, there is a selectable box with text that reads "Preserve Aspect Ratio." Make sure that is checked.
Now, back up in the second block on the left side, input the new size of your image. I prefer to set this by inputting the height, since that is the critical dimension. Anything over 100 pixels high is a bit annoying to me, so I'd set it at 100. If that is too small, just make it bigger.
After you've inputted the new dimensions, click the "OK" button at the bottom of the window.
You should now return to the main window with a resized version of your signature.
Now, go to the file menu and select "save as" if you want to save it as a new file, or just select "save" if you don't care that the original file is overwritten.
Close irfanview and find the saved image file on your computer. Double click on it to see if the resizing worked (if you made sure to uncheck all the image files associations when you installed irfanview, the image file will probably open up in internet explorer or whatever browser you are using).
If you were successful, you can now upload the image to your favorite hosting site and place a link to your uploaded image in the "Signature" portion of your profile (just place the [img] and [/img] tags around the URL for your picture).
And now you should have a properly sized image in your signature.
p.s. I'd also add
www.boomspeed.com to the list of hosts.

Every time they showed her pixilated ass, etc., I thought "her family must be so proud."
The show is annoying with the elimination stuff. After the two couples who were obviously poorly suited, the other three at least seem to like each other. It would be much funnier to make everyone have to sweat it out the whole time.

I think they are planning to re-air it on Thursday night, but I'm not positive. You could tvguide.com to find out.
ABC is premiering the third Bachelor tomorrow night -- so it doesn't appear that they are scrapping all reality tv. he is a "Firestone" of THE Firestones apparently, and sounds like a complete ass. Should be entertaining.

yes, that show is not listed on realityblurred -- only The Family and Are You Hot may be preempted. I can't get behind the Bachelor franchise mainly b/c I think that ABC does it poorly. Maybe if I had a working Tivo it would be ok, but I can't bear to sit through a whole hour of recapping every prior clip after the commercial breaks. The attempts to "build the suspense" have the effect of making me stop caring. Not the desired result, I would guess.

You don't need a Tivo, just tape the show and watch it later, fast forwarding through all the montages. I agree that they use too much filler and spend too much time recapping for the all the undedicated schmoes who didn't watch from the beginning (like me). There are very few reality shows that don't improve when you watch them with a fast forward button handy.

And you would think they would have the material. Sure, watching an entire date would be incredibly boring, but there have to be enough lines and stupid moments to fill an hour. Hell, Joe Millionaire managed to do it (until the last couple of episodes). Classic shit, like Melissa and her mercenary position and where did zora buy that breast. The bachelors and bachelorettes are just as stupid on ABC -- surely they can come up with something other than filler.

Alas I decided that VCRs are so 20th century and chucked mine (after losing/breaking the remote for the 50th time and not wanting to shell out for another freakin' remote). BF bought Tivo and it has been broken for months now. I am, as they call it, SOL.

Tivos break? shit, I'm cancelling my trip to Best Buy this weekend.
favorite moment from last night's MBA:
Stephen and Denise discussing favorite sexual positions:
Denise: I like a man's weight on top of me so I guess that's my favorite....

Didn't anyone watch the Miss USA pageant last night? I was forced to watch it by my better half. How she can stomach that crap is a mystery to me.
At any rate, Texas was robbed. I can't believe that stupid bitch, who said the three things she'd put in a time capsule to represent the 21st century were a cell phone, MAKE UP, and a computer, won! If that doesn't prove those contests are fixed, nothing does...

If Melissa from Joe $$$ were there, I'm sure she would have corrected him. "No, honey, it's called the mercenary position."
I would not be surprised if we saw a new version of blooper show to capture all of these precious moments : Reality TV's Funniest Morons.

FWIW, I've had a Tivo for three years, and I've had to reboot it exactly thrice. No other problems.
While this is a source of raging controversy on Tivo Internet groups, the DirecTV-branded Tivos appear to be the one retail appliance for which the cost of an extended warranty is justifiable. The problems are still rare, but being without one for any extended period of time is far more maddening than, say, losing the use of your blender. Or stereo. Or washer/dryer.

I saw the last part of this. I'll agree, she was pretty damn hot, but nobody was home.
Well, it might have had something to do with her puppetheaded discourse on the war. Something about "we shouldn't question our President". WTF???
I thought Miss Mass was a fair choice. She's kind of the type I go for normally.
But I Must admit, I was partial to Miss Michigan. She is SMOKING Hot.
You be the judge.

She is from TEXAS, WTF did you expect her to say in response to that question? Did you expect her to say she hates the Bushes and their politics? I'm not saying everyone from TX loves the Bush family, but they do have a lot of support down there. And, for what it's worth, even though she expressed a distinctly political view (in response to a political question), you can't fault her for taking a stance which amounted to nothing more than declaring "we should be supporting our troops and president in this time of war." Hardly an abrasive comment. And what's more important is that she was articulate and made sense!

WTF, could Trump not afford to get them all different bikinis? Good, god, a little variety in the pattern (particularly one so coco loco, or some other generic beach ware shop style) is not a bad thing. See SI.
And, as for Miss Texas, she's just learning from the Dixie Chicks -- don't diss on texas.
BTW, what were the other answers for the 21st century? Maybe makeup was better than the others.
And isn't it a bit premature to represent the 21st century? I mean, if the 20th century is represented only by the safety razor, windshield wipers, and cellophane I'll be damned.(
http://inventors.about.com/library/w...ss11_inventors)
FWIW, I would say telephone, airplane, and computer for 20th century. Although birth-control pill might get in there too, especially if the airplane doesn't fit in the box.
And for 21st century, I expect some kind of personal transporter, virtual porn, and safe mind-altering drugs to be the most significant inventions. (Shit, I'm sounding like Less a bit now).[/url]

No shit, MR, and that fact wasn't lost on me. Not to turn this into the Politics board, but there's a little bit of a difference between supporting the troops and the president and not questioning what he does. Agreed? If I mischaracterized what she said, my bad. I may have been distracted by her breasts. So sue me.

So, while I was on vacation I got to see Ryan Sutter's junior high yearbook pics, and read his lengthy and heartfelt inscriptions to my sil. Very cute. One of them included his phone number--sil says she's tempted to call up his mom to say hello.
Watched Oscars Sunday at a friend's house. She has another friend who is dating an MBA reject. Said reject is an actor, and the scuttlebutt is that the fiance selections are completely and totally rigged (surprise surprise).
Just a few notes from the Oscars:
Had all those women already decided to wear black, or was there lots of last-minute scrambling for the last black dress in town as starlets scuttled their colored attire for something more somber? Of the presenters and nominees, I counted at least 8 in black (Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Connelly, Mira Sorvino, Julia Roberts, Geena Davis, Susan Sarandon, Barbra Streisand and Meryl Streep), with two more in colors that looked black on TV (Catherine Zeta-Jones in dark brown and Nicole Kidman in midnight blue).
Cameron Diaz looked better than she's looked in a while--no scary wide bony cleavage and great red lipstick. The hair was a bit stringy.
Jennifer Connelly needs eyebrow help. And her outfit just looked dowdy.
Jennifer Garner and Hillary Swank both had the wrong dresses and the wrong hair. Women with such strong facial bone structure should wear deeper colors and less severe hairstyles (Hillary's dress when she won for Boys Don't Cry was perfect).
Liked Queen Latifah's "Move On" black dress lots and lots better than the blue one she was wearing in the seats.
Sean Connery: if you're going to wear the Bonnie Prince Charlie, for heaven's sake wear the kilt!
Julianne Moore for once was wearing a good color for her (after black at the GGs and ivory at the SAGs), and the dress was lovely, though the back view unfortunately showed off her square ass. LOVED her earrings.
A few women were wearing neutrals and looked good in them: Kate Hudson, Diane Lane, Halle Berry.
Kathy Bates and Meryl Streep both dressed up for once. Loved the color of Kathy Bates' dress; Meryl Streep's sleeves looked like an afterthought (but she had a fantastic necklace).
Thought Renee Z's dress was pretty, but she scares me. My friend (who would know) says Renee's sporting the telltale chipmunk cheeks of the longtime bulimic. You can really see what I'm talking about here: Same thing with Portia de Rossi and Calista Flockhart

This probably belongs over on the politics board, but it's more about the state of the state than politics.
You know, I can't wait until the demographics here finally change over, and attitudes about the state change dramatically. It's just a matter of time, and it's going to be great. Only half of the state is white, non-Hispanic, and the good ol boy network is going to have to work quickly to maintain dominance around here. The seventh grade state history teachers are having to explain why the Mexicans were the bad guys, and the Anglo Texans were the good guys.
I don't know that many Texans that wholeheartedly support the President, unless there's an economic reason to do so. (I do have to admit that the economy isn't as bad here as it is in other parts of the country.) The elder Bushes have set up camp here, but aside from the time my sister helped the fomer president pick out a cantalope in the grocery store under the watchful eye of the secret service, I don't feel like this is a town that's highly influenced by the President. I'm actually surprised by this, given some of my clients and the work that I do for them.
Maybe I'm overly critical of the President, and I surround myself of similarly thinking people, or maybe it's different out in the suburbs and in the country, and certainly this isn't Dallas (Houstonians hate Dallas), but I just don't feel like this is a place where the mob goes out and burns Dixie Chicks albums. I'm actually pretty sure that for every Dixie Chicks album burned or bulldozed or whatever, they're probably selling one or two.

You be the judge.
Okay. What is with guys and blondes? What is with women and green/blue/hazel eyes? I am always totally confused when someone describes their type to me. Am I the only one who doesn't have a type?
I love all kinds of women. All colors. Different shapes (with good ratios, of course). Skin color, eye color and hair color is 100% irrelevant to me. Give me a girl with interesting looks over a bland blonde with a vacant stare any day.
Given, my choice of the perfect girl is somewhat homogenous (Halle isn't really exotic, after all), I may sound a bit hypocritical here. And when I go to Cali, it's fun to play with the barbies. But not as fun as summer in NYC. All flavors, all over. It's fucking great.

I'm with you. Blonde, brunette, white, black, Asian, big boobs, little boobs (don't like the big asses, though) -- my motto is "just keep 'em coming, baby." (and that motto may be interpreted in more than one way while still being 100% accurate)
