Do yourself a favor. Go to Macy's and check out the Sealy Reflexion mattresses. I wouldn't normally send you to Macy's (aka, the Craphouse), but I shopped all over NYC for a mattress and I didn't find anything even close to as good as the Newport Beach mattress I found there. Here's a link:

Unbelievable. They come in a softer plush, but it starts to be too much after awhile.

A friend of mine has one of these. It's like a rock. Apparently it takes years to break in (and I guess the ones in the stores have been so used that they finally feel soft). He hates it.
