I don't hate the Lips. I just hate that song. It's trite, derivative pablum. Diluted Dark Side of the Moon, with a dash of Oasis. And the Joshua Tree, while a decent album, isn't even on the same shelf as Revolver.
Man, if you're going to continue this "arbiter of a generation's taste" schtick, you have to develop some.
