I think you're on the right track for PLF's age appropriate dilemna. I was thinking about it when paigow first mentioned it and I remembered a thing I heard on NPR about a year ago. Punk rockers turn to opera.

Incidently, it seems that NPR is fully aware of the problem and has recently reported on another attempt to ease the 30 somethings into mature fuddy duddy-ness. (dtb, is this appropriate hyphen useage?) Perhaps PLF should also look into attending one of the Punk Rock Orchestra concerts in San Francisco.
