After scanning through these reviews, I've realized that the only TV I watch is: (1) sports, mainly baseball, football and the World Series of Poker (on ESPN2 and the Travele Channel - phenomenal), and (2) reruns, consisting of Seinfeld, Simpsons and NewsRadio.
Prime Time TV doesn't exist for me.
And I still contend that watching sports doesn't count as "watching TV". So when the GF calls and says, "Are you sitting around watching TV?" I say "No, I'm watching the Sox play the Mariners"...

I like your idea that watching sports is not "watching TV." What about the news or educational, does it count as "watching TV?" What if it is the O'Reilly Factor and is thus entertaining as well as informative? I don't think it counts because it is educational and going to school was never called "watching TV." I consider all home repair, cooking and personal improvement (like What Not to Wear) shows to be kinda like "working" or "housework" and not really "watching TV." Watching Spongebob with my son is also not "watching TV" because it is "quality family time." The Weather Channel is not "watching TV" because, well, it is the Weather Channel for freaks sake ya geeks. Finally, watching HBO, etc. is not "watching TV" because they can say fuck and show tits and stuff like that.
I apparently have NEVER watched TV.
