While anyone who appears on Stern immediately drops ten percentage points in the cool category, I'm willing to make an exception for Sarah Silverman. Consistently funny on "Larry Sanders" and the late lamented "Greg the Bunny."
She got in a whole lot of hot water doing a bit on Conan about jury duty. "My friend told me I could get out of jury duty by telling the judge something prejudiced, like 'I hate chinks,' but I totally refuse to do that, because I
love chinks." I think Conan had to promise he wouldn't invite her back to placate the Asian-American activists, but I thought it was hilarious.
If you want to know what to get me for Christmas, it's a three-way with Silverman, Tina Fey and me.
