Rosie O'Donnell was hilarious and quite sarcastic as a stand-up comedian before she went all Oprah and simpy. I like her better now that she's closer to the way she was. Great early routine about being a fat woman doing aerobics in a competitive perfect-body gym with a perfect little fascist instructor--swinging her arms and stepping in time chanting/hyperventilating, "I hate/your guts/you stupid skinny bitch!"
Elayne Boosler was also hilarious and take-no-prisoners. Where the hell is she?
