I've only listned to the album a few times. While it's growing on me a bit, I was underwhelmed on first listen. My initial thoughts were "the British Strokes" and "too fucking 80s" (in a bad way, not in a 'Mats/Husker Du/Minutemen way or a Bad Brains way or a Black Flag way or even an early REM/Let's Active/dBs way).
