Who gave you the feedback and was it just a recital of what you did or commentary on the appropriateness of it???
As it was not an actual firm event, anything short of getting a DUI on the way home should be none of the firm's business. But then again this is Minnesota where people who don't even have the excuse of being wingnuts are often seriously tight-assed about "appropriate" behavior.
