If my wife was the CFO of anything and could afford to drop $28k at Chippendales or its equivalent, non-cheesy affiliates and the media picked it up, I would be upset about the fact that it was picked up. And if she told me that there was no way she spent that kind of money and that she spent only $2,000 and they were trying to take advantage, I would be as outraged as she. And I would be on her side.

I also assume that she would tell me that she was going to a strip club. So, the fact that she was there probably wouldn't surprise me to the point of anger and scorched-earth divorce. But I wouldn't care if after the fact, she said, "We went out, got drunk and decided to go to a strip club." But that's only because I don't give a shit about strip clubs, unless she's fucking a dancer. And that ain't in the fact pattern.
