So in your world, any observation which is not complimentary is worthy of derision? The inherent contradiction of deriding people for making negative comments aside, you've just argued against about 90% of the stand up comedy written in the last 50 years.
I used to take shots at Paigow for getting judgmental. Then one day it dawned on me - if people didn't make biting observations from their own biases, fuck... there would be a goddamned funny syllable on this whole board.
Ranting is sort of walking the plank. You lay the comments out there knowing sombody's going to filet your stuff. But if nobody says anything original, even if its bad, the board dies.
