I think so-so silver means, "could take out Atticus in the blink of eye if she chose to".
One young attorney who worked for me for several years had been on the Chinese Olympic shooting team as a young 'un. She was a very quiet and gentle person, but I have never seen a credential that commanded more immediate respect among people.
