Note: We have been getting a lot of new user registrations from spambots and various Russian internet companies that don't appear to be using the site to talk with lawyers. I delete suspect registrations, and I'm deleting any registration over a year old that is still awaiting e-mail confirmation. Reregister if you're a legitimate person.
ETA: ChipsLaw, please accept my deepest apologies. Your profile got caught up in a purge of six bogus registrations today. Please feel free to reregister.
9/12/2006:
Our host moved us from one server to another this morning. The clock on the new server was about half an hour behind the old server, and as a result "new" posts were placed behind older posts. The post orders from about 10:14 to 11:08 CST on 9/12/2006 are fucked up. One hopes ya'll are able to figure out the time warp.

Socks are safe. At least they post something.
I have no idea. Could be a bored Russian mail order bride waiting for some rich American lawyer to take her away. Whoever it was, I deleted about 35 or so profiles with the same e-mail extension. All of them chose a monkey banging a drum as the avatar.

I deleted most of the people who registered in the first year and never logged in again after registration. That was about 300 people. I'll probably do another sweep of the 8/2004-8/2005 registrations in about six months. There are a few lurkers that don't post but like to hang out here that seem to have been around forever, but they log in and I can do a sweep based on the last log in.
