that would be the opposite. the inverse would be "The US, the brain's inside the hat that is Canada" or something like that. and by the way, Canada is part of "america," mr. honorary cititzen.

anyway those are all stupid shirts. here is what cool people wear.

Flower, why did the hippy chick go to the Yukon?

Leave well enough alone, or stain the entire floor in the room dark enough that the scorch mark isn't recognizable. Your houseguest is clueless, putting hot ashes in a bag is about as smart as hanging clothes on a fire sprinkler.

Minister puts in the congregation newsletter that the rest of the flock should shun the woman because she had engaged in "biblically inappropriate behavior".

The lesson learned there is that if you're going to counseling, get the fuck out of the church.
I've gone to some pretty conservative churches but I'm pretty sure none of them believed there was a duty to disclose a member's Biblically inappropriate behavior to the rest of the congregation unless it could affect the other members (i.e. kiddy porn, financial shenanigans while doing business with other members, etc.). Or unless the person engaging in the behavior is the pastor.

As to the woman in the first article, how is it better to go to Fox news when you are upset the pastor is going to tell just your church?

Yeah, probably not his proudest moment, but he's otherwise a lovely houseguest. He meant well. I think he was trying to clean up the fireplace so it wouldn't have all those yucky ashes lying around. There'd been a fire going all day and the fireplace was somewhat overflowing. It was a veritable volcano.

I did that last year. It's cool. but, to make it seem of value, you need to put a cost on things like coffee, water cooler, personal postage, then let the monopoly pay for all that.

once the fake bills run out, and you've established a cost for those former freebies, you'll be getting money coming home to poppa.

I know about the whole "Penske having relations with your mother" thing, but I still think it is weird for you to call him "poppa."

While I love Handel's Messiah, I got that Soulful album a few years ago and thought it blew large, nasty chunks. Caveat emptor. YMMV.

refi time?

Am thinking about refinancing because I hear rates are super low, but when I look on-line the rates I see are all over the place. Is it possible to refi right now? Any wisdom?

It looks like conforming loans are good deals, so long as equity and income support it and you'll be at 20%+ equity. Jumbo or anything else (<20%, etc.) looks like forget it.

The lesson learned there is that if you're going to counseling, get the fuck out of the church.
The ultimate loser here is the church's insurer. I can think of a number of tort theories under which these ministers are exposing their outfits to liability.

Aside from its loathsomeness, this is not a wise business practice.
