A related note: in my kindergarten-son's class, on the 100th day of school, they were doing a bunch of projects related to the number 100, one of which involved drawing a self-portrait of what they'd look like when they were 100 years old.
Most of them drew canes, the boys drew beards, many had hats; one day as I was looking at the various pictures, the teacher called my attention to one girl's portrait: there were two people in the picture -- one was she (the
artiste) and the other was her home aide.
It took every ounce of my self-control not to burst out laughing - but believe you me, I was laughing on the inside.
