After "Spartan", Mongoose is my secondary nickname in real life. As a kid, in the youth of my childhood, I enjoyed roleplaying games with the my school chums. My favorite lad, Curt, and I enjoyed racing our bigwheels down the hills of our backwoods country town in Vermont and pretending that he was Don "the Snake" Prudhomme and I was Tom "Mongoose" McEwen. Good times.
Anyhoo, thusly, on certain Yahoo adult chatboards, I adopted the moniker Mongoose, however, when I signed up at Yahoo, seven hundred and sixty six incarnations of that name had already been taken. Thus I became Mongoose767.
