I'm still working on my list.
Here's my first shot at a list, in no particular order, and the oldest among them will date me:
Love and Death
Play It Again Sam
Princess Bride
Monty Python & the Wholy Grail
Life of Brian
My Cousin Vinny
Dr. Strangelove
Blazing Saddles
Young Frankenstein
Harold & Maude
I Love You Alice B. Toklas
World According to Garp
Erik the Viking
Local Hero
Benny & Joon
Amelie
Shakespeare in Love
The Graduate
MASH
A Fish Called Wanda
This is Spinal Tap
Diner
The Producers
I Married an Axe Murderer
Fargo
Pride and Prejudice
I haven't seen that one about Maude and the Dude. I watched about 20 minutes on TV once, then flipped to another channel.
A couple are sentimental favorites - I Married an Axe Murderer and Garp have special meanings for me.

You just reminded me that "Ruthless People" should be on the list.

I hated Clerks. I thought it was a steaming pile of shit. There were some funny lines (when read), but I didn't think that movie was funny at all.

Borat was very funny. I struggled with it because I laughed a whole lot when I saw it in the theater. But I doubt I'll ever want to see it again, so it can't go on the list.

Speaking of, sort of, I watched The Breakfast Club over the holidays. Talk about movies that don't stand the test of time. Although it is rather unintentionally funny at this point.

One of my favorites, but it is older than 25 years, I'm pretty sure.

I have seen Borat twice and laughed very hard the second time. The key is to let a lot of time pass by between viewings. You forget how funny it was. Caveat: I am quite easily amused (except not by Meet the Parents).

It is. As is Stripes. In fact, I think both TM and I have it (Hi B'n'B!).

Ferris Bueller, however, stands the test of time. At least for me.
Was Election on anyone's list? I love that movie.
Also Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. San Dimas highschool football rules!
