I think it depends on your own principles. If you have a problem with taking off your shirt, and yet, you do it for money despite this, you have now compromised your own principles. If it was never something you thought was a big deal, doesn't seem to me you have compromised anything. I don't think (a) really matters. (b) does though, since it involves the whole compromising thing.
